Swiss artist Louis Soutter’s (1871-1942) early work was influenced by Roman mural paintings. He had a visual impairment Louis Soutter and started started finger painting sometimes by using his entire body. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of Art Brut and was also a cousin to Charles Edouard Jeanneret, better known as Le Corbusier.
